By ordering a Tandoori dish you may ask the question ‘What is a Tandoor?’  Tandoor is a clay oven made from very special clay and all the food is cooked or grilled on a charcoal fire in the Tandoor.  This is a natural way to cook meat.  Tandoor is a showpiece of Indian Culinary art and is as old as Asian Civilization.  Practically no fat is used to cook any tandoori dish.  So Tandoori is God’s gift to the weight watchers.
